  • A Clear View of The Future for Secondary Glazing  - 26/01/2009 Products

Access Plastics has recently launched a very very low cost alternative to double glazing and secondary glazing. Basically your average window would cost around £40-£50 to glaze with ecoGlaze – around 7-8% of what it would cost if you chose double glazing. Other secondary glazing solutions are considerably more expensive mainly because they install, are generally (and needlessly) more complicated and DO NOT produce the acrylic glazing themselves.

  • A Window of Opportunity for Access Plastics!  - 21/01/2009 News

A West Yorkshire-based plastics manufacturer has hit upon an incredibly simple and cost effective idea that transforms the way we make our homes more eco friendly. Access Plastics, based at Eastburn near Keighley, has developed EcoGlaze which is a system of clear acrylic sheets that can be easily fixed to the inside of existing window frames with magnetic tape to deliver environmental efficiency that more than matches up to the performance of glass. It's also perfect for listed buildings where double glazing is not an option.
