Addagrip’s resin-bonded surface Addastone has been used in the restoration of the Grade II parkland at Bedwellty House, one of Wales’ most historic sites. Designers on the project used a natural aggregate bound with high quality resin to provide a durable, low maintenance alternative to the loose gravel which was used for the pathways in the 19th century.

Addagrip will be exhibiting its extensive range of high quality resin surfacing systems at this year’s Ecobuild, as well as showcasing the recently-launched Addagrip Porous Proctor Pave System, a porous resin bound surface suitable for drives, car parks and footpaths. Developed through a demand for attractive and durable sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDs), the Addagrip Porous Proctor Pave System incorporates a chosen aggregate or recycled aggregate mixed with PU Addastone TP resin in a 100% recycled plastic paver.

Addagrip’s resin bonded aggregate surface Addastone has been used as part of the major restoration of Weston Park, Sheffield. The project, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, involved extensive restoration of the parks landscape and historic features to return the park to its former glory. The restoration of the Grade II registered landscape to the period of Robert Marnock’s design (1875) included restoration of the original extensive footpath network and museum terraces, which involved the use of reclaimed natural stone and set edging and resurfacing.

Addagrip has just launched the Addagrip EDL designer surfacing system, a bespoke formulation for interior floors and wall panels in contemporary residential and commercial projects. The EDL formulation extends the creative possibilities for flooring and surfacing using the chemical reactions of epoxy resin to produce organic patterns and iridescent pigments within interior surfaces.

Addatex Stone Carpet is an unusual and attractive internal flooring finish from Addagrip which is also hardwearing and easy to maintain. Made from a mix of natural or synthetic aggregates and bound in a clear epoxy resin, Stone Carpet provides a smooth, decorative floor finish suitable for a diverse range of applications from offices, reception areas, shops and museums to kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms and wetrooms.

Addagrip will be at stand E88 at this year’s Interbuild, showcasing its extensive and growing range of exterior and interior surfacing products. The company is also exhibiting its just-launched Addagrip Porous Proctor Pave System. Developed out of a demand for an attractive and hardwearing sustainable drainage system (SUDs), this is a porous pavement with a resin-bound finish which provides excellent load bearing properties and allows rain water to drain through and across the surface.

Addagrip has just launched DECO, a high quality resin-based surface to complement its existing range of decorative interior floor finishes.

Climate change and increasingly ‘concreted-over’ gardens and drives has led to a greater need for sustainable drainage systems (SUDS) to help prevent flooding and pollution to the water table. In response to this and customer demand, Addagrip and the A Proctor Group have jointly developed Addagrip Porous Proctor Pave, a porous and hardwearing pavement using a resin-bound finish. The Addagrip Porous Proctor Pave system will be available through Addagrip approved installers as a standard option with the Proctor Pave Gravel system.

Newly launched is Addastone Surface Protector, an advanced heavy duty surface protection for all Addastone resin bonded surfaces as well as all other surfaces such as stonework, patios, block paving slabs, pedestrian areas, car parks or garage floors – in fact, any porous surface.

With landscape design showing a move away from block paving for residential drives, builders, housebuilders and specifiers are likely to find the Addaset surface from Addagrip an aesthetically pleasing alternative.
