Total Home Environment is celebrating after its Electrolux Oxygen 870 & 875 central vacuum systems won the Plus X Award in several categories as well as receiving Best Product of the Year 2012. The Plus X Award is one of the largest, most prestigious awards in the world. It honours superior products in a number of categories, such as high quality and functionality, acknowledging technologies for today and the future. The Plus X jury comprises 144 neutral members from 32 nations. Established for nearly 10 years, The Plus X Award is the world’s biggest competition for technological, sport and lifestyle products. The Best Product of The Year Award is conferred on the product that receives more individual category seals of approval than other comparable products.

Traditional vacuum cleaners re-circulate dust and harmful allergens, such as dust mites, from their exhausts. The Electrolux systems remove all of the dust and allergens to a remote collection point - dramatically improving the quality of the air in the home, making it a healthier place to live.

To qualify for an award, Total Home Environment’s Electrolux 870 and 875 had to be of the highest quality, have a long life cycle, be functional and showcase leading edge design. These requirements must be met before the jury will even consider awarding a product.

As well as Electrolux, brands such as Mercedes, Blackberry and Sony picked up various awards including the most sustainable and innovative.
